Direct answer: Lenme loan payments are auto-debited from your linked bank account on the schedule in your agreement; Lenme collects on the investor's behalf. You can pay early, but SuperMoney reports prepayment fees. Finder notes payback periods can be extended. A failed or late payment can trigger returned-payment fees, collection activity, and loss of future funding; contact Lenme at (844) 426-6606 before a payment fails if you're short.

How Lenme payments work

  • Method: automatic ACH debit from the linked checking account.
  • Schedule: set in the loan agreement; terms run up to 12 months.
  • Servicer: Lenme handles payments, monitoring, and collection on behalf of the investor.
  • Where to see it: the Loans section of the app shows upcoming debits, balance, and history.

Paying early or paying off

You can pay off a Lenme loan ahead of schedule in-app. Before you do, check the agreement: SuperMoney lists prepayment fees among Lenme's cons, which can wipe out the interest you'd save on a short loan. Request a payoff amount inside the app so the figure includes any fee.

Extensions

Finder reports Lenme lets borrowers extend the payback period. Treat it as a tool for a one-off cash crunch, not a habit — extensions usually add interest and can change how the investor views you for future requests. Ask what an extension costs before accepting it.

Lenme or any agency it uses must follow the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act: no harassment, calls at reasonable hours, written validation on request. Keep records of every contact.

Changing the bank account Lenme debits

Update the linked account in the app before the next scheduled debit. Lenme may re-verify the new account, so allow a few days. Don't close the old account until the switch is confirmed.

Payments on a loan from our lender network

Loans arranged through lenmeloans.com are serviced by the lender, not by us. The lender's agreement sets the payment method, schedule, late-fee policy, and whether prepayment is free (most installment lenders allow it). Contact details are in your agreement and on the lender's site.
