Direct answer: Move the sliders to estimate a monthly payment for any amount from $200 to $5,000, any APR, and any term up to 36 months. For a Lenme loan, cap the term at 12 months (Lenme's maximum), add up to 1% origination, and remember the subscription is charged separately. A $1,000 loan at 24% APR over 12 months costs $94.56 a month and $134.72 in interest.

The estimator uses standard amortization: equal monthly payments where each payment covers that month's interest first. It does not include origination fees, subscriptions, or late fees — add those from the tables below.

Lenme-specific adjustments

  • Term cap: 12 months maximum (SuperMoney). Set the term slider at or below 12.
  • Origination fee: up to 1% of the amount — $10 on $1,000.
  • Subscription: monthly or annual, billed by Apple/Google; multiply the plan price by months outstanding.
  • Prepayment fee: reported by SuperMoney; paying early may not save as much as the estimator suggests.
  • Rate: Lenme says from 3% APR; use the in-app feed for realistic figures for your profile.

Worked examples

ScenarioMonthly paymentTotal interestExtras
$500 · 18% · 6 mo$87.76$26.58+$5 origination + subscription
$1,000 · 24% · 12 mo (Lenme max)$94.56$134.72+$10 origination + subscription
$2,000 · 29% · 12 mo$193.99$327.90+$20 origination + subscription
$5,000 · 24% · 12 mo (Lenme max)$472.80$673.58+$50 origination + subscription
$5,000 · 24% · 36 mo (network lender)$196.16$2,061.91Lender fees per agreement; no subscription

Notice the last two rows: stretching $5,000 to 36 months cuts the payment by more than half but triples the interest. Lenme's 12-month cap forces the expensive-payment, cheap-interest end of that trade-off; network lenders let you choose.

How to read the result

  1. Check the monthly payment against your budget after rent, utilities, and existing debt — lenders typically want it to be a modest share of income.
  2. Compare total interest, not the rate, across different terms.
  3. Add fees and subscription to get the true cost.
  4. If the payment only works at 36 months, consider whether you need the full amount.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official Lenme calculator?

No. lenmeloans.com is independent. Lenme shows exact offer terms inside its app; this estimator models costs so you can compare.

What APR should I enter for a Lenme loan?

Check the in-app feed for rates similar loans are funding at. Lenme's 3% figure is a floor, not typical for small-dollar borrowers.

Does the calculator include the Lenme subscription?

No — add the plan price times the number of months outstanding.

Why is my 36-month total so much higher?

Interest accrues on the outstanding balance every month; longer terms mean more months of interest even though each payment is smaller.
